Robyn Unveils Arthur Russell Cover

Check out her recording of 'Tell You (Today)'

Assembled by the Red Hot Organisation, forthcoming tribute album 'Master Mix: Red Hot + Arthur Russell' salutes a true individual.

Arthur Russell straddled the pop and avant garde worlds, releasing disco favourites under his Dinosaur L and Loose Joints monikers as well as exploring the world of echo with his trusty cello.

A host of artists have agreed to take part, including previously unveiled cover versions from Sufjan Stevens, Hot Chip and more.

Robyn's take on 'Tell You (Today)' has now hit the web. Initially recorded by Loose Joints in 1983, the Scandinavian artist finds the pop heart beating under Russell's avant disco abstraction.

Check it out now.

'Master Mix: Red Hot + Arthur Russell' is set to be released on October 20th.
